I don't think he should get the ax. The personnel are more to blame IMO. Thompson had a pile of misses on the defensive side of the ball. That can't get corrected in a year.

Blake Martinez can't be your best inside linebacker. He seems to know where he needs to be, but isn't fast enough to get there.
